South Loop Road Bridge SL-4
AKHI constructed a pre-cast bridge over an existing wetlands as a part of its larger South Loop Road project at Fort Belvoir. The project included extensive environmental monitoring and remediation, site clearing and preparation, drilling and pouring 40 caissons, and installation of pre-cast components.
Joint North Use Power Conductors
AKHI was the design-builder for the primary electrical system along Fort Belvoir's North and South Loop Roads. The project consisted of over two-miles of underground electrical duct-bank and cable, five SF6 SCADA capable switch-gear units, and numerous transformers.
